Overview
Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) is a fun quiz program for 1st to 6th-grade children that emphasizes learning and living God's Word. JBQ is crucial for children as it helps them internalize God's Word, guiding them to make godly choices.
Through JBQ, children memorize and apply God's word in their lives, building a strong foundation of truth that shapes their character and actions. By participating in JBQ, children learn to obey God and resist temptation, strengthening their spiritual growth.
JBQ Mission
At Junior Bible Quiz, our mission is to help children hide God's Word in their hearts and live in obedience to His truth. Inspired by Psalm 119:9 and Psalm 119:11, we strive to guide young minds in learning and applying God's Word, empowering them to stay pure, resist temptation, and grow in their faith.
JBQ Activities at IFC
Our church offers two exciting Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) streams to accommodate every child's learning style and pace. Whether your child loves the thrill of competition or enjoys a more relaxed, cooperative environment, both paths provide a fantastic opportunity to grow in the knowledge of the Bible and their faith.
Perfect for children who prefer to learn without pressure!
Non-competitive JBQ focuses on:
- Bible study in a relaxed setting
- Memorization of Bible verses, facts, and stories
- Individual quizzes at your own pace
- Fun activities that promote understanding of God's Word
Format: Online classes over Zoom on weekday evenings
Best for: Children who enjoy Bible learning without the competitive aspect
For children who love challenges and friendly competition!
Competitive JBQ includes:
- Memorization of Bible verses, facts, and stories
- Fun, competitive tournaments at church, district, and regional levels.
- Opportunity to meet with other churches and grow in God's Word.
- Exciting challenges and team activities
Format: In-person classes after Sunday church service on 1st and 3rd Sundays at 5:00 PM ET
Best for: Children who enjoy challenges, excitement, and healthy competition
